From an assignment to a national finalist!
Congratulations to Leah Robinson, who was awarded one of the 2024 CNS-SCN Nutrigraphic Finalists! She created a factual, evidence-based, and visual nutrigraphic on “The Gluten Debate: For Children. Is a Gluten Free Diet Nutritionally Adequate?”
Leah is a student in the UBC MND Program and took the course HUNU 510 with Dr Lamers in Winter 2023/2024. As part of the HUNU 510 course assignments, Leah developed a timely and ‘hot-topic’ research question and summarized her evidence-based findings in an in-class presentation and written report. She had done such a compelling work that our team invited her to convert her presentation into a Nutrigraphic, with minor guidance by Adrianna Greco, PhD student in our team.
The excellence of Leah’s project and compelling presentation was now recognized on a national level!
Leah will present her nutrigraphic at the upcoming CNS 2024 Annual Conference held in Edmonton, in May 2-4, 2024.
