Congratulations, Niklas, for being awarded 1st Place Poster Prize at the UBC LSI Symposium!

Congratulations, Niklas Tappauf, PhD Candidate, for scoring 1st place in the Poster Award category at the 2nd Annual Life Science Institute (LSI) Symposium, Vancouver BC. Kudos to your reflective thinking and excellent communication skills!

Niklas presented findings from a longitudinal multi-omics cohort study with pediatric patients with intestinal failure and receiving parenteral nutrition.

This study, funded by a BCCHRI Healthy Starts Catalyst Grant and co-led by Drs Hannah Piper and Yvonne Lamers, was designed to identify blood analytes and gut microbiome signatures that may serve as predictors of intestinal adaptation.
